It gives me hope that I change. I’ve been making slow progress.

  • My immediate goal is to run 2 miles every day and build some fitness back.
  • It’s very discouraging how much my latest 5 months of laziness have set me back.

Tony,

My plan has been to walk to work everyday when it is nice out. I have done this everyday since about March when it is nice. To work and back is 3 miles so this is a good way for me to stay fit.

I did go from 210 downto 170 (40 pounds lost). Now I have gained back about 5 pounds so it’s really 35 pounds. I did this mostly from walking and eating right.

Hope this is helpful. Maybe as part of your day just try to include it in your daily activity. If you go shopping maybe walk to the shopping area or bike there or something. Hope this gives ideas.

I’ve thought about biking to work, but it’s almost 10 miles. For now, its just our neighborhood circle or out the country roads.

It sounds like you’re doing well. I am making some progress this month, but it’s slow.

@Shawn: Thanks for keeping up with me, I hope that I can keep up my current progress. I’ve been running every day, but not very far and not very fast. How are you doing now?
