I know that title is a little pompous, especially considering I’m still fighting to get out the door most days. But it occurred to me tonight that I’ve stumbled past the secret of running too many times to count.
I didn’t say the secret to running well, that is still a mystery to me. What I mean is more basic. As long as I keep going out for my awkward jogs, I’ll never fail. As long as I try to become a runner, it will happen.
The whole problem for me is motivation.
I think that you are a very nice guy and very determined. You are very enthusiatic and will rech your goal. I myself want to lose weight to enter highschool confident. I run 5 miles a day but on a treadmill. But i hope one day i can do the same on a track. I face a lot of delemase like yours and i know it could be hard but just think of it day by day you are shrinking and feeling better and healthier.
@Areli: Thanks for the encouraging note. I’ve really had to fight to stick with running, although I really love it when I’m doing well. I wish I was shrinking a little faster !!!
